Modular is a process and not a type of building. Our process at Timberland has been perfected over the last forty years with the building of over 2700 homes for the Pacific Northwest and Alaska regions. We use high quality material and workmanship to create the best value home in the market. Our homes are hand crafted at our Auburn production facility and meet or exceed all local building codes. Timberland Homes—simply a smarter way to build.
Because our homes are built at our Auburn Construction Center, you receive the benefits of the economy of scale and proven relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. We also give you a guaranteed price, once we have agreed on a plan. We think you will find our homes to be highly competitive cost-wise, as well as saving you time and stress.
Yes. The Timberland system works well for two-story homes. On-site, we use a crane to lift the upper floor into place. Any plan can also be modified for a basement application. We have been doing this since 1973, so we’ve had lots of practice. Check out our Floorplans for all two-story homes.
You should have the keys to your new Timberland Home in 1 to 1-1/2 years. While we’re building your home at our construction facility, the site contractor is doing the foundation work and making any other property improvements – it’s happening simultaneously.
Timberland Homes is a custom home builder. Because of that, you are able to create more comfort and convenience with your housing budget that you ever thought possible.
We have referrals for these trades in King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties as well as the San Juan Islands. If you have land in another county check with our sales representatives for possible referrals or use local chapters of Master Builders or neighbor referrals from current new construction. Always confirm that your contractors are properly licensed and bonded with Washington State.
